HPI visa requirements: Eligibility checklist for Australian graduates
To qualify for the HPI visa, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Qualifying degree
Your degree must:
- Be a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD
- Have been awarded in the last five years
- Come from one of the HPI visa universities listed for your graduating year
- Be verified by Ecctis as equivalent to a UK degree
2. Ecctis confirmation
Before submitting your HPI visa application, you must get your qualification verified by Ecctis. This process:

3. Financial requirement
You must show £1,270 in personal savings, held for at least 28 days.
